Fun Mobile Game for Android

By: FeatureTest

I picked up Grand Prix Story on my T-Mobile G2 after I played through both Game Dev Story and Hot Springs Story multiple times. Grand Prix Story falls between the two former games in regards to depth and management, but it does offer different types of strategies and makes you think a little bit differently.

Much like Game Dev Story and Hot Springs Story, the game looks great and the art style is perfect for the phones. It gets the job done without taxing your phone's resources and draining your battery. I spent a few long nights playing the game way too late, simply because I couldn't put it down.

Also, I was happy to see Kairosoft release a game first on Android. It's not a big deal, but I think many developers would see better sales on Android hardware if they would treat the platform a bit more seriously.

I would have liked to have seen a bit more interactivity in the racing segments, but aside from that I don't have any other criticisms. At $4.99 in the Android Market (coming at some point in the future for iOS), Grand Prix Story is a good buy.
