SNK to license a new NeoGeo handheld device
By: Jeff Rivera

File this under stories that came out of nowhere, but left us totally excited and happy. Announced on Famicom Plaza, it appears that SNK is interested in keeping their NeoGeo classics alive, but rather than putting them on the 3DS and Vita, they'll be making them available on their own hardware. The handheld sports some nice specifications, and seems like quite the attractive package for collectors and fans of retro gaming.
The handheld, which is officially licensed by SNK Playmore, will ship with 20 games included, but it will also sport 2GB of on board storage and an SD slot for additional storage, all tucked away under a 4.3" LCD screen. The 20 games that are built in will be the English language North American versions, making for easy gaming for us language limited folk. Take a look below the images for the full list of games that will ship with the device.
